Louise Burney Bellamy, 77 of Perry, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Her funeral service will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, (1100 W. Dundee Street) with interment in the Springhill Cemetery. Viewing will be from 4 PM to 6 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023 at New Bethel. Louise is survived by her children, Sylvester Bellamy (Linda), Jeffrey Bellamy, Amos Bellamy (Barbara), Connie Bellamy, Derek Bellamy and Monique Bellamy, all of Perry, FL; siblings, Oscar Burney Jr. (Mabel) of Tallahassee, Leroy Burney (Jackie) of Perry, Viola Miller (James) of Perry, Ida Arnold of Tallahassee, Marie Branton (James) of Tallahassee, Cora Burney of Perry, Mary Young of Perry, Josephine Burney of Perry and Willie Burney (Dorothy) of Perry; aunt, Ruby Lee Green of Ft. Myers; uncle, Jiles Washington (Sylvia) of Tallahassee; in-laws, Earnest Bellamy (Savannah) and Theola Scott, both of Monticello, FL; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Bellamy Jr., sister, Rebecca Turner and her parents, Cora and Oscar Burney.
