Lewis E Love

Lewis E. Love was born on November 21, 1948 in Perry, Florida to the late JC Love and Rosa Lee Love.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester Evans, Charles Gent, Carl Love, Willie James Gent and his sister Ruby Lee Love.

Lewis attended Jerkins High School and enjoyed working as a mechanic at Martin Electronics (Nammo) for more than 40 years; he retired in December of 2022.

Lewis Love entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 29th, at Doctors Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christine G. Love; two sons, Sean Love and Christopher Love (Cathy) of Perry; six daughters, Ruby Love, Tonya L. Bell (Clinton), Daisha Love of Perry, Barbara L. Purvis (Thomas) of Kingsland, GA, Lorene L. Shields (Brian) of Savannah, GA, Vtoshas Love-Cabell of Austell, GA; three brothers, Reverend Ernest Gent of Perry, Henry Lee Gent (Alethia) of St. Petersburg and Ronald Moore (Eva) of McAlpin; two sisters, Lillie Mae Gent and Joann Nelson of Perry.  He also leaves behind 27 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and his best buddy Blaque.
