Jeffery Garner

Jeffrey Garner, the son of the late Ruby Garner and Sam King, passed away on January 29, 2021.  Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 on the grounds of Spinghill Cemetery in Perry, Florida. His walk-through viiewing will be from 4 PM to 6 PM, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Evans Walker Funeral Home. Masks/Face coverings are mandatory when in attendance at the visitation and the funeral.   He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Kendra Shackelford, Port St. Joe, Florida and Ashley Yearby, Maryland, DC; sons: Jermaine Garner, St. Petersburg, FL and Chris (Latrice) Rockmore, Valdosta, GA; eight grandchildren: Torien  Thomas, Torianna Thomas, and Ty’Shawn Shackelford, all of Port St. Joe, Florida; Lanasjae Rockmore, Lanesha Rockmore, and Acaia Rockmore, all of Valdosta, GA; Za’Maiya Day and Isaiah Day, Maryland, DC; and one great-grandchild, Legacy Thomas, Port St. Joe, Florida; three brothers: James Garner, Miami FL; John Garner and James (Roger) King both of Perry, FL; six sisters: Joyce (Edward) Hamilton, Elizabeth Whetsel, and Rosalind Johnson, all of Perry, FL; Priscilla (Alphonso) Ellison and Rhonda (Marlon) Allen both of Atlanta, GA and Gloria King, St. Petersburg, FL; cousins: Bennie Ruth (Rufus) Sparks of Hollywood, FL and Willie Colson of Perry, FL; brother-in-law, Leon Whetsel of Perry, FL, sisters-in-law: Delois Clayton, Perry Florida and Taneisha Johnson, Tallahassee, FL; and a host of other family members and friends.
