James Miller, 87 of Perry, Florida, passed away on June 12, 2026 in Gainesville, Florida.  Service will be 12 Noon, Saturday June 20, 2026 at New Brooklyn MB Church, where he was a member. His visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM, Friday, June 19, 2026 at New Brooklyn.  Evans Walker is in charge of the arrangements.  James is survived by his wife, Viola B. Miller of Perry, FL, his sons, Darrin A. Miller (Gisela) of Munich, Germany, Vincent A. Miller (Teresa), of Perry, FL, Gerald Miller of Tallahassee, FL, Ernest Bellamy Jr. of Perry, FL and Robert T. Williams of Perry, FL; daughters, Velma Miller of Monticello, FL,  Deborah Gutierrez (Blas) of North Carolina, Donna Miller Melton of Tallahassee, FL,  Janice Miller of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Upshaw (David) of Tallahassee, FL, Tammy Simmons of Humble, Texas and Simone Austin (Tony) of Perry, FL; his sister, Annie Anderson of Kingsland, GA; brothers-in-law, Leroy Burney (Jackie) of Perry, FL and Willie Burney of Perry, FL; sisters-in-law, Evangelist Marie Branton (James), Ida Arnold, Mary Young, Josephine Burney, Mable Burney all of Tallahassee, FL; favorite niece, Sandy Robertson; great aunt, Ruby Green and great uncle, Jiles Washington (Sylvia); 32 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
