Grady Nash

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven.  A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.  Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

Grady Nash Jr. was born on June 1, 1951 in Cairo, Georgia.  He was born the son of the late Grady Nash, Sr. and Mary Louise Jones.  He completed his education also in Cairo, Georgia.  He worked in the logging industry for 30 plus years before retiring.  Grady was a man loved by family, neighbors and friends. 

Grady Nash Jr.  was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Nash, Sr. and Mary Louise Miller; his brother, Vincent Tyrone Miller; sister, Carolyn Nash-Thomas and his grandson, Grady Asante Griffin.

On March 5, 2024, Grady surrendered to the Lord’s call in his home in Perry, Florida with his daughter by his side. 

Grady leaves to mourn, his daughter, Sherlitra Nash Flagg of Perry, Florida; his stepson, Willie Nash; granddaughters, Sarabrian B. Jackson of Warner Robins, Georgia and Lanique J. Griffin of Gainesville, Florida; three siblings, Patricia Nash-Borden (Josephus Borden Jr.), Kenny Lee Miller, both of Cairo, Georgia and Chiquita Miller of Kansas City, Kansas.  Grady is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
