Flora Jean Brown

On the morning of Sunday, October 31, 2021, the Lord called Flora Jean home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Bertha Mae Hugger and two siblings, Willie B. Hugger and Eugene Hugger; mother and father-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth Brown; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Knowles and Horace Brown and sister-in-law, Burnette Knight.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved husband, Eddie James Brown of Perry, her two children, Pamela Brasby (Tyrone) of Perry and Eddie Jr. (Serena) of Texas; her siblings, Sylvester Hugger (Stacy), Bertha Bryant (Ozell), Joanne Hugger, Lorraine Jackson and Sammy Hugger (Deloris), all of Perry; her grandchildren, Shakayla Jones (Freddy) of North Carolina, Ashley Giacomucci (Darius) of Crawfordville, Madyson Robinson of Perry, Alexander Brown, Breyanna Brown, Dori Perry, Lilyanna McDade, Angeleya Thompson, all of Texas, Tamera Brasby and Ariel Brasby, both of Atlanta; her great-grandchildren, Amari “Nugget” Giacomucci, Novah “Bean” Jones, Khaliyah Cooper and Ashton Barr; her second oldest daughters, Marilyn Ruffin and Lisa Jay; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Knowles of Madison, Frank Brown (Rutha) of Virgin Islands, Joseph Brown (Mary) of Monticello and Mary Hugger of Perry, Cherry Waye and Willie Colson; her best friend Rutha Brown; two godchildren, Jordan Williams and T’Keyah Thurston and a host of nieces, nephews and other family whom she loved dearly.
